The Tutanota iOS App Has just Received Its Biggest Update Ever!

Finally, we were able to add the iOS app to our new beta versions.

We're excited to let you know that we have just published a brand-new version of the iOS app. The new app is faster, supports 2FA, auto-sync and full text search. We're very happy that we now have a new web client, a new Android app, and a new iOS app. Now we're adding some last improvements along with a couple of bug fixes, and, finally, the new version of Tutanota will be ready to leave its beta status behind!

After fulfilling our dream in making Tutanota one of the best open source email services by publishing the Android app on F-Droid, we directly set down to re-build the iOS app to add all improvements of the new beta client on iOS as well.

Today, we are happy to announce that we have released a first version of the completely new iOS app. The new app loads much faster and overall speed and design have also been much improved. Along with terrific speed, the app now supports:

full sync between devices and desktop
encrypted search for emails and contacts
adaption of the the screen on the iPhone X
2FA (TOTP)
mutli-select by using long press
